Kia ora, I’m Tahlia - māmā of four, fuelled by coffee and creativity, and the hands and heart behind the magic you see here.

Created By Tahlia is where culture, creativity, and passion-fuelled purpose collide. I create personalised gifts, keepsakes, and one-of-a-kind pēpi kākahu that are meaningful, unique, and infused with te reo Māori — all designed and handmade by me in my little office space at home in Hāwera, Taranaki.

What started as a side hustle on Facebook, making personalised vinyl creations, slowly grew over four years - shaped by growth, lessons, and a whole lot of love for what I do. As my skills sharpened and my passion deepened, so did the kaupapa. I rebranded with purpose and evolved into the little space on the internet you see here today: Created By Tahlia.

Although I don’t whakapapa Māori, my children do - and as the one raising them, making sure they grow up knowing their roots, embracing their culture, and standing proud as Māori is at the heart of everything I do here.
