Are the baby clothes brand new?
The pēpi kākahu bundles are made using preloved clothing, which means I source second-hand pieces that have been previously worn. Each one features a brand new design that I create and apply by hand.
Is the vinyl safe and long-lasting?

Āe! I use high-quality heat transfer vinyl (HTV) for all wearable items. To help maintain the life of the design, wash garments inside out in cold water, avoid the dryer, and don't iron directly on the vinyl.
Personalised Keepsakes
Āe!I use durable adhesive vinyl for all non-wearable items. While it's long lasting, it can be removed with effort - so don't try peel it off. These items can be wiped cleaned or gently hand-washed if needed. Avoid soaking or scrubbing the design.
Do you offer sizes bigger than pēpi?
Currently, I create sizes from Newborn up to size 2 as those are easier to source. But soon, I'll be introducing a personalised kakahu range that will cater to older tamariki as well!
Shipping
When will my order arrive?
For personalised items are made to order, so please allow up to 2 weeks before your piece is shipped. I usually get them out sooner, but this time frame gives a little breathing room in case.
Pēpi kākahu are already made and ready to go - they're usually shipped within 1-2 days of your order being placed.
Once you're order is on the way, delivery usually takes 2-5 working days, depending. onthe couier. Rural address can take a bit longer, and busy times like Christmas or public holidays might cause slight delays.
Do you offer local pickup?
Not currently. All orders are shipped straight to your door to keep things easy and stress-free.
Do you offer international shipping?
Not just yet, but it's something Im excited to explore soon! For now, I'm focusing on shipping within New Zealand. Keep an eye out for updates - I'll let you know when it becomes available.
What if something goes wrong with shipping?
Once your parcel is with the courier, it's out of my hands, but I'll always support you where I can. You'll receive a tracking link when your parcel is on its way, and you may be able to lodge a claim with the courier if needed.
Returns & Refunds
Can I return Personalised Items?
As these are made to order and created just for you, personalised items can't be resold - so i'm unable to offer refunds,exchanges or replacements. Please double-check spellings, colours and design details before placing your order. What you order is exactly what I'll create.
If I've made the mistake - for example, if your order doesn't match the details you provided eg. Incorrect spelling, I'll absolutely take responsibility and replace or refund your item.
Can I return Pēpi Kākahu?
Returns or refunds aren't available for change of mind or sizing, so please read the item descriptions carefully.
If something major has slipped past me and your item isn't as described, get in touch within 7 days of receiving your parcel - I'll always do my best to make it right.
